The rollers are centrifugal founded. The outer layer of the roller is founded from special hardened alloy and its thickness is about 25 mm. The rollers are dynamically balanced by G 2.5 curve at 700 rpm. The flat rollers are sandblasted and the roller’s diameter at both ends of their cylinder, which are crown grinded, is about 40-60 microns. The hardness of the outer layer is about 420-470 HB. Crowning the two ends of the cylinder prevents the rollers’ heat from exceeding the normal heat and makes the milling operates constant and integrated. The hardness of outer layer of groove (fluted) rollers is about 500 HB.
The rollers are grinded, fluted and balanced.
-The average linear speed of the rollers in BK is approximately 6.5 m/s and in MI app. 5.5 m/s.
The pressure of the rollers is provided by the compressed air from compressor and pneumatic jacks and a disc spring system distributes the pressure in a way that if any possible metal parts like bolts enters the course, the rollers open and let the metal parts pass without any damage.
The power transmission part of the roller mill is done by special belts that have transmission power about 55 kW and can be regulated.
The pulleys are fixed on the roller shaft by the lockers, no parallel keys have been used and the problem of loosening of pulleys and eroding of roller shaft is solved.
The bearings of rollers are self-adjustable roll bearings. As the bearings come out of the roller shaft by the oil pressure of the manual hydraulic pump there is no need for hammer blows.
After adjusting the distance between rollers, a tiny pneumatic jack locks down the system.
The feeding system of the roller mill is protected by caps, which prevent the material from pouring outside and makes the sampling easier.
Feed rollers in addition to bearings can move within or out of the machine by sliding which makes maintenance, repairing and cleaning the feeders easier.
The feeding system of roller mill is controlled by two kinds of system: the manual control system, in which the revolution of gearbox attached to the feed rollers can be altered by the touch screen monitor and an inverter; and the automated control system, in which, when the entering material level is increasing, revolution of the feed rollers is automatically increased by the sensors inside the roller mill hood, and the amount of the increase can be adjusted and regulated.
The touch screen is programmable and by defining the allowed ampere of the electromotor, an alarm is given when the ampere exceeds the defined amount, or in order to engage the rollers, a timer can be defined, so that after the feeder material has arrived the rollers become engaged. The permissible revolution drop can be defined so that an alarm is given if the electromotor belts are loosened.
Front cap of the machine is opened upward by the means of gas jacks, making some internal parts of the machine visible.
The power in the feeder part can be cut off by the emergency button.
A special lifter is delivered alongside the machine, for taking out or mounting the rollers, which can easily do the job.
The main parts of the machine are supplied from the great accredited companies from the Western Europe (Germany, Italy, and Spain).
A toolbox including all the tools and maintenance gadgets will be delivered.
